Elk Grove Village, IL – (March 19, 2020) Niigata Machine Techno USA, Inc. has appointed Gregory Lewis as Regional Sales Manager for its Injection Molding Division. Lewis joins the builder with more than three decades of aggregate technical sales experience in the plastics industry. The position was created upon Niigata USA’s decision last year to begin selling its plastic injection molding machines direct to customers, after 37 years of distribution by third parties in North America.

As Regional Sales Manager, Lewis will lead and support Niigata USA’s Injection Molding Division sales team and respond to customer needs, including overseeing operator and maintenance training.

Serving in various sales capacities during his tenure at Matsui America, Inc., and most recently acting as General Manager there, Lewis brings long-term experience and technical insight to his new role. His extensive industry knowledge goes beyond injection molding machinery and operation to include an in-depth understanding of raw material handling, plastic molding auxiliary systems, resin drying technology for hygroscopic and non-hygroscopic materials, material blending and recycling systems.

The facility also sells and supports a full line of Niigata Horizontal Machining Centers.
